Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

It's a new year, so I'm making some changes. I took a break from art for a while to catch up on a few things, but now I'm back to kick some butt. Decided I really wanted to get back into doing art for myself now that commissions are over. I went ahead and opened up a few pre-orders for FWA, but I don't feel like overloading myself again for a while.

Tigsie now has her very own TV SHOW! That's right, it is actually just an art stream jam session. Now you can watch me create from my art desk! Shows will be announced whenever. Please leave a comment or a vote on how you would like to be informed through my new poll. My favorite feature about this is that now if you commission a piece from me you can request to watch me draw it LIVE from stream! Isn't that cool? I watch several artists do stream sessions from time to time. Personally, I love them. You can learn lots of different techniques and tricks by observing others at work.

Furry Weekend Atlanta 2012
This is the big one for me. I'll actually be a dealer this year for once! You can stop by my booth called "Tigsie's Green Fairy!" The theme of the convention next year is actually Moulin Rouge, and I love that movie so much. So, lots of prep work needs to be done.

Neat! I'm going to be starting some live work streams. I've never been one to watch others work, so I don't understand the appeal, despite your logical 'learning stuff'

I was honestly shocked when I asked a bunch of friends if they'd want to watch a stream and they overwhelmingly said yes.
